When the creators Craig Thomas and Carter Bays first came up with How I Met Your Mother they would have never imagined that it would run for long nine seasons.

The opening theme song of How I Met Your Mother was performed by The Solids which is the band of creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. The theme song is a 12-second excerpt of the song Hey Beautiful and undoubtedly it was a catchy and unforgettable beat that will not bore you, no matter how many times you listen to it.

Barney Stinson was named after a heroin peddler in the James Ellroy book ‘LA Confidential’. Barney(Neil Patrick Harris) is a talented magician and is the president of the Magic Castle Club in Los Angeles.

In the entire series only 12 times, Barney showed up without a suit and he wore the infamous Ducky tie for 11 episodes.
